BabyPeek is an entertainment app that uses AI technology to create fun baby face predictions from photos you upload. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect
your information. By using BabyPeek, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, language preference, and timezone.
Device Identifier: A non-personal device identifier (IDFV) to manage your account.
Photos: Photos you voluntarily upload for AI baby face predictions, age progression, and resemblance analysis.
Face Data: Facial geometry information (such as eye spacing, nose width, and face shape proportions) derived on your device using Apple's Vision framework for the Resemblance
feature. These are numerical values only, not images, and never leave your device.
Usage Data: How you interact with the app, including screens viewed and features used.
Purchase Information: Subscription and credit transactions, processed securely through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
Face Data Collection, Use & Retention
BabyPeek collects and processes face data as follows. "Face data" refers to photographs containing human faces that you voluntarily upload, as well as facial geometry information
derived from those photographs.
What Face Data We Collect:
Photographs containing faces that you voluntarily select from your photo library for the purpose of generating AI baby predictions, age progressions, or resemblance analyses.
Facial geometry ratios (such as eye spacing, nose width, and face shape proportions) derived on your device using Apple's Vision framework for the Resemblance feature. These are
numerical values only, not images.
How We Use Face Data:
Uploaded photos are used exclusively to generate AI baby face predictions and age progression images via Fal.ai (fal.ai, Inc.), a third-party AI image generation service. Photos
serve as input references for the AI model to create fictional baby images.
On-device facial geometry data is used solely to calculate parent-baby resemblance percentages. This data is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it.
We do not use face data for user identification, facial recognition, advertising, marketing, profiling, or AI model training.
Third-Party Sharing of Face Data:
Uploaded photos are transmitted to Fal.ai (fal.ai, Inc., based in the United States) for AI image generation. Fal.ai processes photos as input to generate images and is subject to
their privacy policy (https://fal.ai/privacy).
Numerical resemblance results (percentages only, no photos) may be sent to OpenAI to generate a fun text description. No photos or face images are shared with OpenAI.
No other third parties receive your photos or face data.
On-device facial geometry data is never shared with any third party.
Face Data Retention:
On-device: Photos are cached locally for your convenience. Facial geometry data exists only in memory during analysis and is not saved to disk.
Our servers: We store temporary file references (URLs) as part of your generation records. The actual photo files are hosted on Fal.ai's storage, not on our servers.
Fal.ai: Uploaded and generated files are available for a limited period (typically 7 days), after which Fal.ai may delete them.
You may request deletion of all your data, including generation records, by contacting support@appacnera.com.
Consent:
Before any photo is sent to Fal.ai for the first time, the app presents an explicit consent dialog that identifies Fal.ai by name, explains that your photos will be processed by a
third-party AI service, and provides links to both our privacy policy and Fal.ai's privacy policy. You may decline and continue using non-AI features of the app.
How We Use Your Photos
Your photos are used solely to generate AI baby face predictions, age progression images, and resemblance analyses. Here's what you should know:
Photos are sent securely via HTTPS to Fal.ai (fal.ai, Inc.) for AI image generation.
We store temporary file references (URLs) on our servers as part of your generation history. The actual photo files are hosted on Fal.ai's storage.
Fal.ai retains uploaded files for a limited period (typically 7 days), after which they may be deleted.
We do not use your photos to train AI models. Fal.ai does not use your photos for model training either.
You can revoke your AI data processing consent at any time from Settings.
All generated images are fictional and created for entertainment purposes only.
AI Processing & Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide our features:
Fal.ai (fal.ai, Inc., USA): AI image generation for baby face predictions and age progression. Your photos are transmitted securely and processed by Fal.ai's models. Fal.ai does not
use your photos for AI model training. Privacy policy: https://fal.ai/privacy
OpenAI: Used solely to generate fun text descriptions for the Resemblance feature. Only numerical similarity percentages are sent to OpenAI — no photos or face images.
Sentry: Crash reporting to monitor app stability. No photos or face data are sent to Sentry.
RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management. No photos or face data are shared.
Apple StoreKit: For processing in-app purchases securely through Apple's payment system.
These services process data according to their own privacy policies and industry-standard security practices.
Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously:
All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
Photos are transmitted securely to Fal.ai and are not permanently stored on our servers. We retain only temporary file references (URLs) as part of your generation history.
On-device face analysis data (Vision framework) never leaves your device.
Your account data is stored on secure servers with restricted access.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data, including generation records and file references.
Consent: Revoke AI data processing consent at any time in Settings. This prevents future photo transmissions to Fal.ai.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.

Children's Privacy
BabyPeek is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal
information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active.
Photos are transmitted to Fal.ai for processing. Fal.ai retains uploaded files for a limited period (typically 7 days), after which they may be deleted. We store temporary file
references (URLs) on our servers as part of your generation history.
On-device facial geometry data exists only in memory during analysis and is never persisted to disk.
Usage data is retained in anonymized form for service improvement.
You can request complete data deletion at any time by contacting support@appacnera.com. Deleting the app removes all locally stored photos and face data from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app. Your continued use of BabyPeek after changes are posted
constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
