Effective date: July 28, 2026 | Last updated: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Baby & Mom ("Baby & Mom," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Baby & Mom pregnancy and baby-tracking mobile application, together with any related websites, features, and services we offer (collectively, the "App" or "Service"). This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the App, including expectant parents, partners, and caregivers.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described here, please do not use the App. Because the App may process sensitive information related to your pregnancy and health, we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy carefully before providing us with any information.
We collect information in three general ways: information you provide to us directly, information collected automatically through your use of the App, and information we receive from third parties. The specific data we collect depends on which features of the App you choose to use.
• Account information: When you create a Baby & Mom account, we may collect your name, email address, password, and, if you choose to sign in through a third-party service (such as your Google or Apple account), certain profile information made available to us by that provider.
• Pregnancy and health-related information: To provide personalized due-date calculations, weekly pregnancy updates, baby growth milestones, and related content, we may ask you to provide information such as your estimated due date or last menstrual period, pre-pregnancy details, symptoms, weight and health metrics you choose to log, appointment notes, and information about your baby after birth (such as feeding, sleep, and growth records).
• Content you submit: Notes, journal entries, photos, reminders, and any other content you voluntarily enter into the App, including entries in trackers, checklists, and community or support features if available.
• Communications: If you contact us for support or feedback (including at ms.apps2026@gmail.com), we collect the information you provide in that communication, such as your email address and the contents of your message.
• Survey and research information: If you choose to participate in optional surveys, feedback requests, or feature testing, we collect the responses you provide.
When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically through standard mobile analytics and diagnostic tools:
• Device and technical information: Device type, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, app version, and general settings information.
• Usage data: Information about how you interact with the App, such as features used, screens viewed, buttons tapped, session length, crash reports, and performance diagnostics.
• Location information: If you enable location permissions, we may collect approximate or precise location data to support relevant features (for example, showing region-appropriate content). You may disable location access at any time through your device settings.
• Notification data: If you enable push notifications, we use a device token to deliver reminders (such as appointment or milestone reminders) to your device.
If you choose to log in, back up data, or connect the App to a third-party account (such as a Google account, Apple ID, or a connected health platform), we may receive limited information from that provider in accordance with your privacy settings on that platform, such as your name, email address, and profile identifier. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms; we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
• To create, maintain, and secure your Baby & Mom account.
• To provide core App functionality, including pregnancy tracking, due-date and gestational-age calculations, baby growth tracking, personalized content, checklists, and reminders.
• To personalize your experience, such as tailoring weekly updates and tips to your stage of pregnancy or your baby's age.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the App, including troubleshooting, testing, and analyzing usage trends.
• To communicate with you, including responding to support requests, sending service-related notices, and, where you have consented, sending reminders or promotional communications.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity, and to protect the security and integrity of the App.
• To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
• For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time the information is collected, or with your consent.
We do not use your pregnancy, health, or baby-related information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Certain information collected by the App, such as pregnancy status, due date, symptoms, and health metrics, may be considered sensitive or "special category" personal data under applicable privacy laws. We only collect this information where you choose to provide it in order to use the App's tracking and personalization features, and we treat this information with additional care.
• We do not sell your health-related information.
• We do not use your health-related information to serve third-party targeted advertising.
• Where required by applicable law, we will seek your explicit consent before collecting or processing sensitive health information, and you may withdraw that consent at any time through the App's settings or by contacting us.
The App is designed to help you track and organize information related to your pregnancy and your baby. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Please see the Medical Disclaimer in our Terms of Use for more information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing personal data, we rely on the following legal bases, depending on the context:
• Performance of a contract: to provide the App and the features you request, such as maintaining your account and delivering tracking functionality.
• Consent: for optional features such as sensitive health data processing, push notifications, marketing communications, and certain cookies or analytics technologies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests: to maintain and improve the App, ensure security, prevent fraud, and understand how the App is used, provided such interests are not overridden by your data protection rights.
• Legal obligation: where we must process information to comply with applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
• Service providers: We engage trusted third-party vendors to perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and data storage, analytics, crash reporting, customer support tools, and push notification delivery. These providers are permitted to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are contractually obligated to protect your information.
• Platform and infrastructure providers: The App may rely on services such as Google Firebase for backend infrastructure, analytics, authentication, and crash reporting, and is distributed through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, each of which processes certain data (such as purchase and device information) in accordance with its own privacy policy.
• Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Baby & Mom, our users, or others.
• Business transfers: If Baby & Mom is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.
• With your consent: We may share your information with third parties in other circumstances where you have given us your consent to do so.
The App may integrate with, link to, or rely on third-party platforms and services to operate. These third parties have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies:
• Google Terms of Service: https://policies.google.com/terms
• Apple Privacy Policy — applicable if you download or purchase through the Apple App Store: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
• Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/
We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective policies and terms.
The App and any associated websites may use cookies, mobile identifiers, software development kits (SDKs), and similar tracking technologies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, understand how the App is used, and support analytics and crash reporting. You can manage certain tracking preferences through your device's privacy settings, such as limiting ad tracking or resetting your advertising identifier. Disabling certain technologies may affect the functionality of the App.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's features. We may also retain information for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and support legitimate business purposes such as security and analytics. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.
We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include encryption of data in transit, access controls, and regular review of our security practices. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
Baby & Mom may process and store information on servers located in countries other than your country of residence. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps intended to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:
• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
• Request a copy of your information in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your information.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and opt out of targeted advertising, where applicable under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
Many of these choices can be exercised directly within the App's account and privacy settings, such as updating your profile, managing notification preferences, or deleting tracked entries. To exercise any of these rights, or if you have questions about your choices, you may contact us at ms.apps2026@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
We do not knowingly sell personal information, and we do not knowingly share health-related personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Baby & Mom is intended for use by expectant parents, parents, and caregivers who are adults and is not directed at children. The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Certain features may allow you to log non-identifying information about your baby (such as growth milestones) for your own personal tracking purposes; this information is provided and controlled by the parent or guardian using the account, not by the child. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information directly from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take steps to delete such information.
You may delete your account and associated personal information at any time through the App's account settings, or by contacting us at ms.apps2026@gmail.com. Once your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain certain information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the features of the App, or applicable law. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice or other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after such changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
