I have a MA in Philosophy from the University of Maryland and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires. I specialise in philosophy of language. I have worked on the theory of reference, general terms and rigidity, the contextualist debate and the semantics and ontology of fictional names. Currently I'm working on (i) the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic analysis of slurs and (ii) thick aesthetic predicates and judgements. I am also interested in some problems in philosophy of literature, such as the ontology and interpretation of literary works.

I have directed many research projects granted by the CONICET and other gubernamental agencies in my country. I have been the President of SADAF (2015-2017) and of the Latin-American Association of Analytic Philosophy (ALFAn) (2010-2012). I have been the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Analisis Filosofico Análisis Filosófico (2015-2017), and at present I am the General Director of the SADAF editorial seal.

You can see some of my publications here.
