I grew up in New Mexico and moved to Santa Cruz half-way through 8th grade when my dad decided to go to college at UCSC. I attended B-40 and Harbor High! For college, I went to UCSD and studied political science, visual arts, and communications. Later, I studied to be a teacher at Santa Clara University.
I recently moved back to Santa Cruz. I have three children: a college graduate, a seniior in college, and an 11th grader.
When I have free time, I love to spend time with family, garden, hike, roller skate, read and make art.
I have been teaching for 16 years off and on, mainly in middle school. I took some time off to raise a family and live in Italy for two years.
2025-26 will be my fifth year at Branciforte Middle School. I am very happy to be a part of this amazing community!
