Since the inception of pharmaceutical education in India by Professor M. L. Due to increased number of applicants every year, one must be prepared with confidence and thorough with the syllabus. In order to qualify these exams the candidates must prepare thoroughly to get admission in pharmacy course because the question paper is set in a manner to judge the time management skills and presence of mind of a candidate apart from subject knowledge.

Students may take the exam several times; each score will be looked at separately. If students do retake the exam, it is advised that students increase their score for each retake. The college does not drop the lowest score or average PCAT scores. PCAT scores more than three years old (older than 1/07/2021) will not be considered when making admissions decisions.

The Admissions Committee will review completed applications received by May 1, 2024. All incomplete applications will not be reviewed, therefore we strongly encourage all items to be submitted by the deadline.

4. Begin working on this no later than your second semester in college.

6. Respect the reference's time.

7. Be a positive addition to their time and life.

8. It is suggested that students obtain a letter of reference from a pharmacist with whom they have established a professional or working relationship.

The North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) is designed to evaluate general practice knowledge and is taken by recent college of pharmacy graduates shortly after they receive their degree. The exam is also taken by foreign-educated pharmacists who have earned FPGEC Certification.

We confirm eligibility to test for Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, and Wisconsin. There is an additional $85 fee for these states during the application process, and candidates may be approved to purchase the exam after meeting all application requirements.

This section assesses mastery of the basic concepts of biology, including general biology, microbiology, human anatomy and human physiology. General biology makes up 60% of the exam, microbiology makes up 20%, and anatomy and physiology make up the remaining 20%.

This section assesses mathematical skills and numerical reasoning in the areas of basic math, algebra, probability, statistics, pre-calculus, and calculus. Basic math skills make up 15% of the exam content, algebra makes up 20%, probability and statistics make up another 20%, pre-calculus makes up 22%, and the final 22% focuses on calculus.

Pharmacy colleges encourage or require applicants to have volunteer or paid experience working with patients in a pharmacy or health-related setting (hospital, nursing home, etc.). Ongoing work or volunteer experience in a pharmacy setting may be an important factor in the admissions process. Students who have trouble identifying a pharmacist to shadow are encouraged to contact pharmacy colleges and schools in their region for assistance and guidance.

The interview format varies by institution. Pharmacy admission officers may require you to speak with a single faculty member, a student, a pharmacist, a panel of interviewers, or to participate in an orientation program. If invited, you should be prepared to discuss why you have chosen to pursue a career in the pharmacy profession and your perceptions about the role of the pharmacist in healthcare. Those who have researched and gained direct exposure to the profession will be better prepared to respond to the interview questions.
