During the week of July 20–24 2026, I was part of the organizing committee of the Winter School of Theoretical Physics at UFRJ, where I also taught the minicourse on introduction to nonlinear dynamics and chaos. The program featured additional minicourses on the differential geometry of fundamental interactions, quantum vacuum effects, and path integrals in stochastic processes and four invited seminars.
During the first week of June 2026, with financial support from IMPA and FAPERJ, we organized the workshop Mathematics of Multiscale Modeling at IMPA. The event featured 18 invited lectures and 6 poster presentations, with a focus on mathematical aspects of turbulence, chaos, and stochastic dynamics. The workshop brought together researchers and students working on multiscale phenomena across mathematics and physics. Find out more on IMPA's website.
