Hello everyone, I am Bernard (although I'm usually called Bernie or Bertie by friends and family). I have tons of experience in professional kitchens, culminating over 13 years. I started as a budding apprentice in the bakery of the great Sean Walters, a revered pastry chef in my home county of San Bernardino. I have put my years of knowledge into my dream of finally opening my own bakery! Though a few months may pass before my Bakery finally opens to the public, I am excited to fulfill my dream and inspire more young bakers to pursue their passions. I am working with my best friend and business partner, Nesita Schmit, to give the bakery a homey, welcoming energy. She's a splendid hostess, so I know she'll help me create the perfect atmosphere!
