AZM Buddy Privacy Policy

AZM Buddy is developed by N3o67SYS. This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed and used when you use the AZM Buddy Android application.

1. Information We Access

Location

AZM Buddy may request access to approximate or precise device location. Location is used to:

• Center the map on the user's position

• Calculate bearings, distance, and magnetic declination

• Locate nearby towers

• Assist with address and site-location tools

• Save a selected location inside a Site Project

Camera

AZM Buddy may request access to the device camera for Camera Alignment. The camera preview is used to help the user align the phone with a selected sector azimuth.

AZM Buddy does not currently upload camera images to N3o67SYS.

Device Sensors

AZM Buddy uses supported device sensors, including compass, rotation, magnetic-field, pitch, and roll sensors, to calculate heading and alignment information.

Sensor readings are processed for app functionality.

2. Site Projects and User-Entered Information

AZM Buddy allows users to create and store information including:

• Site names

• Coordinates

• Sector azimuths

• Sector details

• Notes

• Map markers

• Building footprints

• Interface settings

This information is stored locally on the user's device. N3o67SYS does not operate an online account system or server that receives saved Site Projects.

Users can delete individual Site Projects inside the app. Users may also remove locally stored information by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling AZM Buddy.

3. Internet and Third-Party Services

AZM Buddy uses internet-connected services to provide maps, address searches, public tower information, and related location features.

These services may include:

• Google Maps Platform

• Google Play services

• OpenStreetMap and Overpass services

• Public FCC tower or antenna-structure information

When these features are used, information such as coordinates, search requests, IP address, device information, or application information may be processed by the applicable service provider according to that provider's privacy policy.

4. Data Sharing and Sale

N3o67SYS does not sell users' personal information.

Information may be processed by third-party service providers only as necessary to supply maps, location searches, public tower results, and other requested app functionality.

5. Data Retention

Site Projects and app settings stored locally remain on the device until the user deletes them, clears the app's storage, or uninstalls the app.

N3o67SYS does not retain copies of locally stored Site Projects on its own servers.

6. Permissions

AZM Buddy may request the following Android permissions:

• Approximate and precise location

• Camera

• Internet access

• Vibration

Permissions are used only for the app features described in this policy. Users may manage permissions through Android system settings.

7. Security

Reasonable measures are used to reduce unauthorized access to information handled by the app. However, no electronic system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

AZM Buddy is intended as a technical field and mapping utility and is not designed specifically for children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when AZM Buddy's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published.
