Software Developer     [July 2011 - June 2014]

Overview

Joined in as an Entry Level Employee to the Project and was responsible for management of applications ranging from C++ to C#; windows console to windows forms and websites to Web Services. I was given a Dell Champion Award (2014), a Bronze award (2014) and several Dell Spot Awards (2012-2014) for extraordinary performances time and again.

During my time at Dell I was responsible for development few websites and several application enhancements for windows Apps and websites, along with that was also part of removing security flaws from exposed services, application and websites. Often the development was end to end and creating Oracle Stored Procedures and One time scripts was not uncommon.

Over a very short period of time I started to actively take part in requirement analysis and reviewing the work of peers, and maintained a quality of more than 90% during my stay there, as a result was progressively given complex tasks and came out victorious in each one of them.

I have worked, developed and delivered with a very high quality even on very stringent deadlines and always accepted new work as a new challenge and work on with equal or more energy than the previous. 

I helped in building a solution for a telephone service application for the client which would reduce up to 90% of the effort for any future work on that service, and for that I bagged a bronze award and a Dell Champion award.

Working in Dell taught me to manage my work effectively, it poured in a sense of discipline and structure into my work, made me process oriented while teaching me that the existence of process is to help us, and there is always a room to improve upon it. 

Experian EMEA Denmark - 2011-2014

This Project aims to Develop and Manage the Applications for the Experian Denmark. The Applications range from Web Applications to Web/WCF Services, Windows forms to Console Applications built in C++ to C# and Classic ASP to ASP.NET4.0. The applications used both Oracle11g and MS SQL Server2005, the project helped a lot in my understanding of SDLC, handling complex architectures, understanding of different frameworks and different types of coding styles for different types to applications. Working under this project yielded 2 Dell on the Spot Awards and a Dell Champion Award to recognize my contribution towards it.

Telephone Search - 12/2013 - 01/2014

This project was a small but bit challenging, as a WCF was to be consumed by a web service running in .NET1.1 and console application developed in C++, another challenging factor was console application was having a firewall issue with the new https WCF service, hence a new Service with a new standard model was proposed and developed to act as a mediatory, response of which will be parsed by the new XML parser in the Console application. The standard model will help reduce the cost by 80% in the future and the task itself was accomplished in the 80% of the estimated effort.

Management Match - 05/2013 - 08/2013

It was a POC for the Experian Denmark wherein the details of the Top Management of the company was mapped with the company and vice versa, the search was a robust one where in company name, person name or their combination can be searched . The project used .NET4 and Oracle11g with my focus majorly towards the core logic and client side scripting, received an On the Spot award for my work.

Experian KreditStatus - 03/2013 - 05/2013

It was a website which would allow Danish citizens to view their Positive Financial Data as well as the history of searches made on them by others. It used an in house WCF service and Oraacle11g behind it. 

The project gave me confidence to work with minimal supervision and was delivered without any security flaws.
