If you want premium, hypoallergenic silicone tips to secure your existing earbuds for long gaming sessions or workouts on the Switch, choose AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal; if need a complete true wireless audio system with deep bass and all-day battery life for mobile entertainment, choose JBL Vibe 100TWS. These two products sit in entirely different categories of the market, yet both promise to elevate your listening experience when paired with a Nintendo Switch. One is an accessory designed to fix fit issues and improve isolation, while the other is a standalone device ready to play music and handle calls out of the box. I have analyzed the specifications and design intent of both to help you decide which path makes sense for your setup.
• AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal: The biggest strength is its specialized German LSR silicone material that offers a naturally grippy surface for active use without irritating sensitive ears; the trade-off is that it is not a full set of headphones but merely replacement tips compatible with specific models like Galaxy Buds 2 or Powerbeats Pro.
• JBL Vibe 100TWS: The standout feature is the complete 20-hour combined playback battery life powered by 8mm drivers delivering deep bass, offering total freedom from wires with dual-connect capability; the limitation is that it lacks active noise cancellation and relies solely on passive seal for sound quality.
• Who picks AZLA: Choose this if you already own high-quality earbuds that feel loose or uncomfortable during intense gaming marathons and need a better acoustic seal.
• Who picks JBL: Choose this if you are looking for a fresh pair of true wireless headphones specifically for fast charging in ear headphones for switch usage, where you need the device itself rather than just an upgrade to an existing pair.
The AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal is not a headphone; it is a precision-engineered solution for anyone who has struggled to find a perfect fit with their current TWS (True Wireless Stereo) buds. Based on data gathered from analyzing over 1,500 ear shapes across two years, these tips are crafted from premium hypoallergenic German Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR). This material choice is significant because it provides a naturally sticky surface that helps keep earbuds securely in place during vigorous movement. If you are using your earbuds for competitive gaming on the Switch, where head movements can be erratic, this grip factor becomes a primary defense against losing audio mid-match.
These tips are designed to create an effective acoustic seal that improves passive sound isolation without altering the original sound signature of your earbuds. Many users complain that cheap silicone tips leak bass or cause discomfort after an hour, but the crystal-clear design aims to preserve the fidelity of your current audio hardware. The product comes in multiple sizes, including ML-Medium Large, MS-Medium Small, SS-Small Small, and SSS-Small Small Small Ultra Short, ensuring that even those with very narrow or unusually shaped ear canals can find a match. The core length is standardized at 4mm, making them compatible with a wide range of TWS Bluetooth earbuds, though they are explicitly noted as not compatible with the ultra-short nozzles found on some Galaxy Buds Pro models or AirPods Pro.

You should buy the AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal if you own compatible earbuds like Samsung Galaxy Buds 2, Buds+, or Beats Powerbeats Pro and find that they slip out during physical activity or fail to block out ambient noise effectively. However, you should skip this product if you do not already own a pair of TWS earbuds that work with the 4mm nozzle size, as this item is purely an accessory. It does not provide any sound, battery, or connectivity on its own. It is strictly for people who have solved the electronics problem but are still fighting the physics of the human ear canal.
The JBL Vibe 100TWS enters the conversation as a complete audio solution, built around the brand's legacy of deep bass and reliable wireless performance. Powered by 8mm dynamic drivers, these earbuds aim to deliver the energy of a live concert directly to your ears, specifically targeting entertainment use cases. The most compelling specification here is the battery architecture: 5 hours of continuous playback in the earbuds combined with an additional 15 hours stored in the charging case. This totals 20 hours of listening time, meaning you can go several days without needing to plug into a power source. For a gamer using the Switch in handheld mode, this longevity ensures the audio won't cut out during long dungeon crawls or story campaigns.
Comfort is a central pillar of the JBL Vibe 100TWS design, featuring ergonomically shaped earpieces intended to stay in place even after hours of listening. The package includes three different sizes of silicon ear-tips to ensure a customized fit, which is crucial because the product note explicitly states that incorrect sizing leads to poor sound quality and call performance. Unlike the AZLA tips which you apply yourself, these come pre-fitted and tested for a standard seal. The Dual Connect technology allows you to use either the left or right bud independently, or both together. This flexibility means you can keep one bud charging in the case while using the other for a quick phone check or game chat, a feature that adds genuine utility to daily life.
This product is ideal for someone seeking best waterproof headband headphones for switch scenarios, although it is important to clarify that these are in-ear buds, not headbands, but they offer the same durability and portability. They support hands-free calls managed directly from the earbud controls and offer a Bluetooth range of up to 30 feet, provided there are no major obstructions like thick walls. However, potential buyers must note that there is no voice assistant feature available on the buds themselves, and the noise control is limited to the physical seal of the tip—there is no electronic active noise cancellation. If you require a simple, rugged, and bass-forward audio companion that requires zero setup beyond pairing, the JBL Vibe 100TWS fits that role perfectly.
• Best for battery life → JBL Vibe 100TWS: With a guaranteed 20-hour total runtime, this product wins decisively for extended sessions where recharging is inconvenient.
• Best for comfort and material science → AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal: The hypoallergenic German LSR silicone offers superior skin safety and a unique grippy texture that standard plastic or rubber tips often lack.
• Best for immediate audio output → JBL Vibe 100TWS: This is a ready-to-play device with 8mm drivers and deep bass; the AZLA tips require you to already own working earbuds to function.
• Best for active lifestyles and stability → AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal: The natural stickiness of the material is engineered specifically to prevent slippage during high-movement activities like sports or intense gaming.
• Best for flexible usage (one ear or both) → JBL Vibe 100TWS: The Dual Connect feature lets you use a single bud for calls while the other charges, a convenience the tips cannot offer.
• Best value for existing owners → AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal: If you already have expensive earbuds, buying these tips extends their life and usability far cheaper than buying a new headset.
• Best for bass enthusiasts → JBL Vibe 100TWS: The 8mm drivers are tuned specifically for deep bass, whereas the AZLA tips only preserve the sound signature of whatever buds you currently own.
• Best for fast charging in ear headphones for switch → JBL Vibe 100TWS: The combination of a Type-C charging cable and rapid 2-hour charge time supports a lifestyle where you need quick power between gaming bursts.
I would buy the JBL Vibe 100TWS for my personal Switch setup because it solves the entire problem in one package. As someone who values deep bass and doesn't want to worry about finding the right third-party tips to make my current earbuds stay put, the integrated design of the JBL buds offers peace of mind. The 20-hour battery life alone makes it the superior choice for a dedicated gaming peripheral, ensuring I never run out of juice during a weekend marathon. While the AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal is an excellent accessory for fixing fit issues, it is too niche to be my primary recommendation unless you are already unhappy with the fit of your current gear. For a balanced, ready-to-go experience that delivers strong sound and reliability, the JBL option is the clear winner.
No, the AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal tips are explicitly listed as not compatible with Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Buds Live, or AirPods Pro due to differences in nozzle depth and core length.
While the JBL Vibe 100TWS supports access to your device's voice assistant through the connection, the product notes specify that there is no dedicated voice assistant feature available directly on the earbud controls.
The charging time is listed as 2 hours to fully charge the earbuds via the included Type-C to Type-A charging cable.
