Azkari ("the app", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is used.

Data We Collect

Location. Azkari uses your device's location to calculate accurate prayer times and to point the qibla compass toward the Kaaba in Mecca. This location is used only on your device, in the moment, to perform these calculations. It is never transmitted anywhere, stored on any server, or shared with any third party.

If you prefer not to share your location, you can manually select your city instead in the app's settings.

Notification preferences. If you turn on prayer or dhikr reminders, the times you choose are saved only on your own device, so the app can remind you at those times. This information never leaves your device.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Azkari does not require an account, does not collect your name, email, or any personal identifiers, does not use analytics or tracking tools, does not display advertisements, and does not sell or share any data with third parties. The app has no server and does not send any information over the internet.

Data Storage

All app data — your settings, reminder preferences, favorites, and progress — is stored locally on your device only. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

Children's Privacy

Azkari does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is a general-audience religious reference tool with no user accounts or data collection beyond what is described above.

Permissions the App Requests, and Why

●      Location — for prayer times and qibla direction (see above)

●      Notifications — to show you prayer/dhikr reminders you've set

●      Vibration — for gentle feedback (e.g. when a dhikr counter target is reached)

●      Exact alarms / schedule alarms — to deliver reminders at the exact time you've chosen, even if the app is closed

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same location with a new "Last updated" date.
