Since July 2024, I have been a doctoral researcher in mathematics at the University of Tuebingen. I work in the group on Mathematical Methods in Computer Science, under the supervision of Stephan Eckstein.
My research centers around optimization problems over spaces of probability measures, as they arise in generative modelling and causal inference. I am particularly interested in how the geometry of these spaces can be exploited to develop and analyze numerical methods. Currently, I study the structure induced by causal graphical models and compatible gradient flows. The overarching goal is to support empirical research in the design and evaluation of scientific experiments.
