The Kemper Foundation’s Fall 2026 Read Conmigo Educator Grant application is now open!
The Read Conmigo Educator Grants provide $3,000 to support classroom resources and/or professional development that advance dual-language (Spanish-English) education for bilingual students.
New for 2026:
Annual Grant Cycle: Starting this year, the Read Conmigo Educator Grants will transition from two application cycles per year to a single annual cycle. As a result, this will be the only opportunity to apply this calendar year.
Expanded Eligibility: Eligibility has expanded to include educators in Cook County, IL; Harris County, TX; Hidalgo County, TX; and Maricopa County, AZ.
Program Details:
Open to full-time, licensed teachers in dual-language (Spanish-English) programs at public and charter elementary schools in the following locations:
Arizona: Maricopa County
California: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, or Ventura counties
Florida: Broward or Miami-Dade counties
Illinois: Cook County
Texas: Dallas, Harris, or Hidalgo counties
Applications are accepted annually in June for the upcoming school year.
Applications are due by Monday, June 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. local time.

We know how important informed leadership is in successful DLI schools here in AZ! Winner will receive a plaque/memento at the annual AZ DLI Network Leadership Academy, a letter of recognition and $500 for their DLI program. Apply HERE.
Apply to be an AZ DLI Advocate at the JNCL-NCLIS Fall Advocacy Days (October 2026 - (exact dates TBD). If chosen, you will join the AZ team, be mentored and have meetings with your representative and senators.
