"Diane Salazar supported preschool aged children with disabilities, their families, and the community with high-quality innovative inclusive preschool programs. Programs offered for children went above and beyond what you typically see in settings in the state. The continuum of placement options provided were all inclusive yet implemented in a variety of ways to meet the individual needs of young children with disabilities. Diane also supported staff with a robust professional development system of supports and provided coaching and consultation for staff along with ensuring she met all her administrative responsibilities. Programs consistently resulted in positive child outcomes and Diane continued to look "outside the box" for opportunities to be innovative such as partnerships with community childcare programs, dramatic arts programs, and kindergarten readiness. She has been a truly inspirational educator and leader. "
