Azaadi is a music player app themed around India’s Independence Day. It plays patriotic songs from a public YouTube playlist and lets you favorite tracks, control playback, and view the queue.

This policy explains what information the app uses and what it does not collect.

2. Information we collect

Azaadi does not require an account and does not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or payment details.

We do not run our own analytics, crash reporting, ads, or user profiles.

3. How the app uses data

• Play music: The app loads playlist titles, thumbnails, and video playback through YouTube’s public playlist and official embed player.

• Favorites: When you tap the heart icon, the song ID is saved on your device so it stays favorited after you close the app.

• Fonts: The app may download fonts from Google Fonts so text displays correctly.

4. Permissions

On Android the app requests:

• Internet — to load the YouTube playlist, thumbnails, fonts, and play audio/video

• Modify audio settings — so playback volume and audio routing work correctly

The app does not ask for storage, microphone, camera, contacts, location, or notifications.

5. Third-party services

Playback uses YouTube (Google). When you play a song, YouTube may receive standard technical data such as IP address, device/browser information, and the video being played, under Google’s Privacy Policy.

The app may also contact:

• youtube.com — playlist metadata and official embed player

• Google Fonts — font files

We do not sell your data. We do not receive a copy of YouTube watch history from this app.

6. Data storage and retention

• Favorites stay on your device until you unfavorite them or uninstall the app.

• Uninstalling Azaadi deletes local favorites.

• We do not operate a server that stores your personal information.

7. Children’s privacy

Azaadi is a general-audience music player. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Data security

Favorites are stored only on your device. Network traffic goes to YouTube/Google over HTTPS. No passwords or payment data are handled by the app.

9. Your choices

• Clear favorites by unfavoriting songs or uninstalling the app

• Control YouTube-related data in your Google account / YouTube settings

• Stop network use by turning off Internet (the player will not work offline)
