This Privacy Policy describes how RisenApps ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the AZ Cast mobile application (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
AZ Cast lets you discover videos and media, and stream ("cast") local files and web videos to Chromecast, DLNA, and smart-TV devices on your network.
Media files: With your permission, the App reads videos, images, and audio stored on your device so you can browse and cast them. This media is streamed directly from your device to your chosen cast/TV device on your local network. We do not upload, copy, or store your personal media on our servers.
Search terms and web addresses (URLs): If you search for or open web pages inside the App to find videos, those queries and URLs are sent to the relevant third-party websites and search providers to return results.
Local network information: The App discovers cast-capable devices on your Wi-Fi/local network (Chromecast, DLNA renderers, LG/webOS TVs). This discovery happens locally on your network.
Through the third-party services listed in Section 3, the App and its SDKs may collect:
Device information: Device model, operating system version, language, country, app version, and a device/installation identifier.
Advertising identifier: Google Advertising ID and approximate, IP-based location for advertising and analytics.
App usage and interaction events: Screens viewed, features used, casting sessions, and ad interactions.
Diagnostic and crash data: Stack traces and device state at the time of a crash.
Purchase status: Whether you have an active premium/ad-free subscription or purchase. Payment card details are handled by Google Play, not by us.
Note: We do NOT require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or password to use the App.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To provide the App's core function: discovering, browsing, and casting media.
To display and measure advertising (including personalized ads where permitted).
To process and validate in-app purchases and remove ads for premium users.
To understand usage, improve features, and fix bugs and crashes.
To maintain security and prevent abuse.
The App uses the following third-party SDKs and services, which may collect and process data under their own privacy policies:

Third-party video sites via media extraction (Resolving and streaming web video you choose to play) — Governed by each site's own policy.
We use Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may use your advertising identifier to serve personalized ads. You can manage your preferences in the following ways:
Reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Opt out of personalized ads in your Google account or device ad settings.
Remove ads entirely by purchasing the premium/ad-free option in the App.
If you are in a region covered by the GDPR (EEA/UK), the App requests consent for data processing used for personalized advertising where required.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party service providers listed in Section 3 so they can perform their functions, and where required by law or to protect our rights.
We retain analytics and diagnostic data only as long as needed for the purposes described, in accordance with the retention practices of Google/Firebase. Your local media never leaves your device through us, so we retain none of it.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You may also control much of this data through your device and Google account settings.
We rely on the security measures of Google Play and the third-party services we use. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when the updated policy is posted, with a revised "Last updated" date.
