Achievements

Received the prestigious and competitive Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship 2025 (Embassy Recommended) to pursue a fully-funded PhD at the University of Tokyo, Japan. Also, selected as a candidate for the Japan-Based Fellowship in the Japan-US-Australia-India QUAD Fellowship Program by the Institute of International Education (IIE), besides being selected as a MEXT Scholar. [Both scholarships not taken] 

Selected for the prestigious and competitive Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) program in 2023, interned at the University of Manitoba, Canada, on the Global Skills Strategy visa.

Earned an Outstanding (O) grade in my MS thesis during the winter 2024 semester. The MS thesis also resulted in a publication in the International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation.

Received the prestigious CHANAKYA Undergraduate Fellowship for my BS thesis from IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I-Hub Foundation (IITTNiF) in November 2022 for a period of 10 months. This fellowship led to a publication in the Remote Sensing Applications: Society and Environment journal.

Earned an Excellent (A) grade for the 18-credit BS thesis during the winter 2023 semester. The BS thesis also resulted in a publication in the Remote Sensing Applications: Society and Environment journal.

Selected as a team member who showcased the Data Science and Engineering department's ground-breaking research and innovations at the Mega Science and Technology Expo at MANIT Bhopal. The expo was held during the 8th India International Science Festival (IISF) 2022 and provided an opportunity to present our work to several public and private organizations.

Won the best poster presentation award at the Engineers' Day conference held in September 2022 at IISER Bhopal. The research paper for this work has been published in the Neural Computing and Applications journal.

Achieved an Excellent (A) grade in the “Spatial Data Science and Applications (DSE-406)” course during the fall 2022 semester.

Earned an Outstanding (O) grade in the “Advanced Programming in Python (DSE-309)” course in the fall 2021 semester.

One of my projects, "Dubai Satellite Imagery Semantic Segmentation Using Deep Learning," has received tremendous attention and recognition within the GeoAI community, with over 25+ forks, 80+ stars, and the prestigious Starstruck badge on GitHub. A bronze medal, 15,000+ views, 600+ forks, and 50+ upvotes on Kaggle. Moreover, "Humans in the Loop," the dataset's creators, have acknowledged and promoted my work on their social media pages.

The GitHub repository of my project, "Multiclass Semantic Segmentation of Aerial Drone Images Using Deep Learning," has received over 80+ stars and 20+ forks.

Awarded by Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Kanpur, for securing the perfect score in Computer Science (100/100) in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) 2019.

Received a monetary award of Rs. 5000 from Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Kanpur, for achieving a perfect score of 10/10 CGPA in the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) 2017.
