I am Dr. Ayshika (ऐशिका) Kapoor, a researcher and engineer specializing in distributed and secure AI, with a focus on privacy-preserving and communication-efficient intelligent systems. I currently serve as a Manager at Ola Electric, where I design and develop AI-driven models for electric vehicles (EVs) by leveraging large-scale telematics and sensor data to enable predictive maintenance and intelligent mobility insights. I have completed my Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (specializing in Communication, Networks, and Signal Processing) from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2025, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jaypee University of Information Technology in 2020. My Ph.D worked focused on developing efficient and privacy-preserving Federated Learning (FL) algorithms for cross-device systems for adaptive and scalable FL frameworks that address key challenges such as communication efficiency, statistical heterogeneity, privacy preservation, resource constraints, and domain-adaptive learning. During my Ph.D. I was also awarded the prestigious Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF). My research contributions are published across journals and conferences such as IEEE IoT Magazine, IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials, Pervasive and Mobile Computing, ICASSP, IJCNN, NCC, and KDD.
