Hi! I am Shana, an 18-year-old native of Kozhikode, currently pursuing a BA in Economics at Guruvayoorappan College. I have a strong passion for numbers and financial management, and my ultimate goal is to become a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte, London.
Along with my studies, I am dedicated to giving back to my community. I teach children from grades 4 to 7 at ILAB, a transformative NGO in Kappakal, where I started my journey in July. This experience has been crucial, giving me a sense of purpose and a deep connection to the values of education and service. Additionally, I am currently studying Digital Literacy and Technology Program (DTLP) at ILAB to enhance my digital skills and knowledge, which I believe are essential in today’s fast-evolving world.
A core value of mine is independence. I deeply believe in the power of self-reliance and constantly strive to build my skills and strengths without depending on others. Whether it's in my academic journey or my personal life, I am determined to chart my own path and take responsibility for my growth. I understand that true empowerment comes from the ability to stand on your own, and I am committed to becoming someone who can confidently navigate the challenges of life without relying on others.
I take pride in my ability to work hard, stay focused, and solve problems on my own, while also recognizing the importance of learning from experiences and mistakes. I am determined to continue building my independence through my education, career, and every opportunity that comes my way.
In my free time, I enjoy drawing and find joy in communicating and connecting with others. My desire for a peaceful and comfortable environment allows me to stay focused and motivated in both my personal and academic life.
Guided by my quote, “Do something good for someone else,” I am driven to make a meaningful impact, always striving to learn and grow in every way I can, while maintaining my independence as I navigate this journey.
