A singularity container of MD simulation software LAMMPS has been created and modified by an external user package in the local pc and then transferred to the high-performance cluster to have a similar software environment for simulations
Static analysis of a thin plate with a hole of an arbitrary shape with arbitrary loads(2021)
This project work aims to analyze the static analysis of a thin plate with a hole of an arbitrary shape with arbitrary loads acting in the plane of x1-x2. For analysis we consider three different hole size. Analysis has been carried out using finite element analysis software ANSYS. We analyzed the effect of mesh sizing on the structure applying three different mesh size and compared the result. The various of stress and strain at the different region of the structure has also been shown here. The stress and strain obtained from the analysis in Ansys mostly satisfied the equilibrium and compatibility equations of stress and strain for plane stress condition.
Optimization for Maximum Flight Time (2022)
Factorial design and Response Surface Methodology (RSM) has been used to find out the optimal flight time. Minitab has been used for this analysis. Paper Helicopter has been used for the experiment as a prototype.
The approximate differential equation by finite difference method (FDM)(2021)
This project aims to approximate differential equation by finite difference method (FDM).Here a second order ordinary differential equation has been solved using FDM. The ways how to solve the ODE of different boundary condition has been shown. The effects of nodes has been analyzed by showing the order of convergence of error. Finally, higher order approximation has been used to have better accuracy and the comparison of accuracy between 2nd and 4th order has been shown here. Python has been used to do all the coding.
Heat Exchanger (2019): Analyzing the diameter effect, the length effect, the baffle spacing effect on the heat transfer coefficient and pressure drops, an optimized design has been made and according to the design a shell and tube heat exchanger has been built. Excel has been used for calculation optimization and machine shop was the construction place.
Automatic Pineapple Peeler Machine (2018):
In this machine the pineapple was placed between the holder horizontally and the cutter cut the outer surface linearly. Motor selection, Vibration reduction, importance of centralization, material selection, and welding skills were needed to build the machine.
Line Follower: A robot that detects the back strip on the white surface. Developed using Arduino.
