Rev. Dr. Michel R. Belzile, Pastor
Michel joined Aylmer Baptist Church in April 2021. Born in Montreal, Michel is a graduate of McGill University (B.Sc.) and McMaster University (M.Div., D.Min.). He has served as an ordained minister within the Baptist fold for over 30 years. He has pastored churches in Mountsberg & Westover, Hagersville, Niagara Falls, Toronto and Oakville. In 2012, we was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and served as President of the Canadian Baptist of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ) from 2014-15. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees and Senate of McMaster Divinty College. Michel is married to Mary Ellen, is the father of two married children, grandpapa to four grandchildren, and the faithful companion of a goldendoodle named Taylor. Michel enjoys playing the guitar and traveling to PEI for fresh oysters, lobsters and mussels. At the moment, his favourite gospel is the Gospel of Mark and his favourite chapter of the Bible is Romans 12.

Patricia Baker, Music Director
Pat is an Elgin County girl. She was born and raised in St. Thomas. She graduated from Central Elgin Collegiate and then from the University of Western Ontario with degrees embracing Music/French & German. After graduating from Althouse College, she taught languages and music for many years. She began her teaching career at WESS and then went to PCI in St. Thomas. At PCI, she headed the languages department and spearheaded the launch of the French Immersion program for Elgin high schools. Teaching is just one of her passions. Music, world travel and grandchildren are others! Pat’s church music career began when she was a very young woman doing ‘organ supply’ assignments throughout the Elgin/Middlesex region. She was ‘Minister of Music’ at St. Paul’s, our neighbour, for eighteen years and, as such, played here during our many years of joint summer services. Pat has two adult children. She is “Grandmums” to five young grandchildren and Paddy, a granddog!
Nicole Pressey-Wiebenga, Administrative Assistant
Nicole has been the ABC office support at since starting in 2012. Nicole grew up attending events and Vacation Bible School at ABC. She enjoys hearing stories and updates from the ABC family as they bustle in the kitchen or work around the building.
Nicole graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Social Sciences and Fanshawe College with a diploma in Business Marketing. You may run into Nicole around town since she wears many hats in a variety of roles she takes on.

Gary Welch, Custodian
Gary has been in the custodian role since Oct. 2017. He takes great pride in keeping our building in tip-top shape. His janitorial experience and hard work is evident in the shine on the floors! "Team Welch" includes wife Jacki and children Sydney and Tyler.
ABC is in good hands!
