"Hand in Hand"
Guest Kusum teaches campers how to create rangoli, a traditional Indian art.
Thank you Kusum for sharing with us how you use visual art to express your identity!
Campers unite to film group content for the Activist song music video with Guide Moreau. Then, they formed small groups to plan the AYC camp presentation for their families.
Guide Jonah worked with campers all day to capture vocal and instrumental recordings for the AYC Activist song "Hand in Hand". The whole group recorded the chorus together at the end of the day.
Campers' families arrived in the afternoon and were given a tour around St. Elmo village, "Our home for the past four days".
AYC extends a huge thank you to Jackie and St. Elmo Village for the use of the space and for creating a beautiful environment that fosters learning and growth!
Campers present on their time at the AYC camp this week and recap what they learned.
Campers perform "Hand in Hand", the AYC 2022 Activist song, for families to conclude this year's camp.
Thank you campers for engaging, creating, and learning at the 2022 AYC camp! We look forward to seeing you again next summer!
