Brynez Roane is a Certified Domestic Violence Advocate, Victim Advocate Specialist III, Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified (LCSW-C) and Board Approved Supervisor in the State of Maryland and District of Columbia. She has a: Doctorate of Philosophy from Morgan State University (May, 2016), Master of Social Work from Howard University (December, 2004) and Bachelor of Social Work from Morgan State University (May, 2003).
Dr. Roane has proudly worked in the Social Work field for over 15 years and has a passion helping the voiceless have a voice. She has a variety of experiences working with at-risk populations including foster care, homelessness, substance abuse, victims of crime non-profit agencies and community mental health settings. Dr. Roane is an advocate committed to helping those who are disadvantaged.
In addition to direct services, Dr. Roane specializes in leadership development, program creation and implementation, team building, grant writing, performance management and curriculum writing.
Dr. Roane’s passion has always been in empowering youth and helping them to be the best that they can be. In her spare time Dr. Roane facilitates various workshops for youth and is active on the following community boards: Baltimore County Citizens Review Board, Baltimore County Delta Foundation and the RICA community advisory board.
