I worked as an interpreter and a translator between English landscape architect and civil servants at International Exchange Department and City Planning Department in Tamano City Hall and Japanese landscape architects at a consulting firm.

I worked as an interpreter when they had meetings to design an English garden at Miyama Park, Okayama Prefecture, Japan.  I interpreted when the English landscape architect explained English gardens in the UK to assembly members. I also worked as an interpreter when they held a seminar about English gardens introducing English gardens by the English landscape architect for Tamano citizens.  I showered him around Okayama with the members at Tamaco City Hall.

I worked as an interpreter between engineers from many different countries and Japanese engineers at Mitsubishi Motor Vehicle Company in Mizushima. I was an interpreter for many kinds of meetings including wrap up meeting at Body building Department, Painting Department, Assembly Department, Inspection Department, Logistic Department, etc.  When they had trainees from Asian countries, I interpreted conversations between the trainees and Japanese engineers.  and I also showed them around Okayama with Japanese engineers.  As a translator, I translated minutes at various meetings, manuals, contracts, invoices, e-mail, etc.
