4617 Natural Bridge Avenue 

The ANWO National Headquarters is an initiative to transform a building donated to us by the African People's Education and Defense Fund,  into offices and community space.  

We envision a space to cultivate relationships by offering cultural, social, and community space, in general, and for African women organizing to address our special oppression, in specific. 

Description: 

4617 Natural Bridge is a 2-level 2200 SQFT building with an open space on the ground floor and office and kitchen space on the second floor.  It has a front balcony and back decking. 

Scope: 

1. Install kitchen and bathrooms with fixtures and appliances

2. Install plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and hot water heater.

3. Replace/repair the roof 

4. Reinforce deck and fencing 

5. Install new front bottom level façade by replacing brick with full-view windows.
