Moldbygg are brainless creatures, completely subservient to their eternal Hunger. Their bodies of acidic, gelatinous goo stifle small physical attacks from damaging their souls - unfortunately for Temmies, whose attack strategy is limited to weak physical damage in overwhelming numbers. Temmies wander the caverns of Waterfall in an eternal patrol, overwhelming and devouring and repopulating at an alarming rate. Moldbygg, their only natural predators, are the only thing keeping the population from surging out of control.
Moldbygg traps are easy to miss, as the monster flattens and expands its body and lies in wait just below the surface of the water. The only tell of a Moldbygg trap in an area is by the pulse of a soul at the center of the trap, deliberately exposed to draw in prey like bait. Pancaked out like this, their bodies are extra sensitive and will snap up like a bear trap when anything touches them. The slime monster will attempt to digest anything without hesitation, living or not. Travelers beware.
Early into the Hunger, Catty was overrun by a pack of starving monsters, eaten nearly to death before Bratty saved her. She tried to nurse her back to health as she slowly lost her own mind, but ultimately failed, and in her madness forgot who she herself was, remembering only Catty. She skinned her nearly dead friend and wore her fur, assuming her identity and fleeing into New Home to hunt. She, like Burgerpants, holds a section of New Home in sway as its leader. Holds a grudge against BP for not attempting to save Catty.
The remains of the Royal Guard watch the common roads through Hotland in search of prey. Their leader, a dragon monster oddly missing his chest plate, is so strong that he survived a direct attack from Lemon Bread.
After escaping the resort to the tumult of New Home and sloughing off most of the skin on his face, BP used all his wiles to gain the trust of lesser monsters and convinced them to run in a pack with him, to more easily take down larger and more powerful monsters, rather than fight on their own. His tactic worked, and gained him the trust, and eventual subservience, of his fellows. He currently rules one of the largest sectors of New Home, and barely needs to lift a claw for himself, due to the loyalty of his thralls.

End of The Lesser Monsters
The strongest of the amalgamates, and the strongest monster in the Underground besides Flowey. Their entire body has melted together now, and has begun to accumulate other items to armor itself. The scent of lemon is extraordinary.
Uses their multiple selves to disorient and surround their prey, and vibrate at an intensity and frequency that often causes the poor creature’s skull to rupture.
Fractured across so many planes of time and space that they are very rarely fully in one place at one time. Only parts of their body now surface, most often a horrendous, forever staring eye, its iris lined with razor sharp teeth.
A ferocious and endlessly starving predator and unparalleled tracker. It’s saliva is so acidic it can eat through solid steel.
A gathered consciousness of over twenty different monsters. Without her husband and son’s interactions, Snowdrake’s mother’s mind slipped away from being, and is now lost to the rolling mess.
The only amalgamate that remains below in the True Lab, and is thus the sanest of them. They still recall their lost friends, and wander the halls waiting for their return, guarding the remains of Sans and Alphys’ machine.
End of The Amalgamates
Guilt riddled and depressed and alone, Alphys released the Amalgams from the True lab, when she failed to finish the barrier draining machine or to find a way to stop Flowey, and, lost to the Hunger, they consumed her alive.
The now default leader of the spiderfolk, Muffet sits at the center of the Labyrinthine Caverns in the hollowed out exoskeleton of her former pet, controlling her smaller sisters by way of a hive mind. They bring the gargantuan, bloated former beauty any prey they can find. She possesses a venom that can either put her prey in a delusion where they are happy and safe, or cause such unbelievable pain that they are incapacitated.
Irreversibly fused with the machinery of his robot form to survive Burgerpants pushing him into a ravenous crowd, Mettaton now rolls around the interior of the CORE in a severely damaged state, trying to find a way out and chasing both actual prey and phantom whispers. Remembers almost nothing before the fusion besides faint memories of Napstablook, and Burgerpants’ betrayal.
