Bananafrappe
Former owner and creator of Axetale. She was inspired by Sour Apple Studios’ Horrortale and created a horror AU of her own in 2017. For the next six years she would work on Axetale lore, write stories for Axetale. Unfortunately she would retire with most of the OG creators in 2023 to start a new chapter in her life.
Azulandrojo
The former co-owner and co-creator of Axetale with Bananafrappe. Like Banana, she would help create works for the AU for six years until retiring in 2023.
Mercy-Monster
Mercy-Monster would be as influential of a creator as the owners, being the AU’s main artist. She would create most of the old comics, character designs, and some ideas that would later be canon. Her artwork is so beautiful that it makes what would be an apocalyptic timeline look like a visual masterpiece. Even today her works hit people’s hearts as they see the comics she made for the AU. When she would not work on Axetale, she would work on sub AUs for it, either the Wild AU, or Revenant souls with Zemikiart.
Zemikiart
Zemikiart was another well known artist like Mercy-Monster, creating realistic and beautiful art. Her most well known works were Revenant souls, an AU crossover between Axetale canon and revenant souls, an AU where Frisk is alive and forced to raise Aliza alone after Sans dies.
Dedication
In 2017, Axetale was created by Bananafrappe after being inspired by horrortale. She would later spend 6 years on the AU, writing a vast amount of story and content to make the AU we now know and love. She would be assisted by the co-owner, Azulandrojo, who also helped with the writing.
However, Axetale would have never had the chance to resonate with people the way it did had it not been for Mercy-Monster and her artwork. Most Axetale art had been made by her years ago and has stood the test of time for its detailed and beautiful outlook. While Axetale was being developed, she would create all of it's comics, and a number of AUs. Such AUs were Resurgent Wild, by which she worked with another prominent Axetale artist, Zemikiart (creator of Revenant Souls).
Most of the founders would leave around 2023 completely after a number of reasons, walking away from their social media and deleting most forms of contact. With their absence, the AU would be mostly dormant-until now. One must appreciate the accomplishments they have made however. The story, the artwork, the lore, they walked so one day we can eventually run.
