Our family met Dr. Hurley when he made a house call for my daughter. She was two years old then and is now 59. He was our Dr. for all the many years we lived in St. Cajetan parish, and we have never loved another doctor as we did Dr. Hurley. You could always get a straight answer from him and he never failed to crack me up with his quiet humor. He is surely welcome in heaven. God bless his family.

Oh, Father Hurley, Little did we know when you led the St Patricks Parade Procession around Old Saint Pat's altar as the Grand Marshall you were not only sad about the cancellation of the day's events but you were probably overwhelmed with concern about your father days before his death on St Joseph's Day.
