Geometry, Arithmetic, and Groups - Locations/maps/buses

The talks will take place in the following locations:

Monday in Mezes Hall, room 1.306. As you face the front (west side) of Mezes Hall you will see some steps on the right leading down to a courtyard. Go down these steps and enter the building at that lower level. The lecture room, MEZ 1.306, is immediately in front of you as you enter.

Tuesday-Wednesday in Welch Hall, room 1.308

Thursday-Friday in Welch Hall, room 1.316
The Welch Hall rooms are right next to each other, and entering from the east side of the building, it is easiest to simply follow the signs for these rooms.

Buses: Mezes and Welch Halls are located a walkable 1 and 1.2 miles from the La Quinta hotel, but with the summer Texas heat, participants may wish to take the bus. Capital Metro manages the local transportation. You can pay with exact change on the bus or download the Capital Metro App (note that local day and week passes are available).

To get to the conference from LaQuinta:

You can take bus route 7 or route 10 from stop ID 864 at the southeast corner of 12th and Trinity. to get to Mezes you should get off at stop ID 1253 at the southeast corner of 21st and San Jacinto and then walk west on 21st st. To get to Welch, you should get off at stop ID 3491 at the northeast corner of 23rd and San Jacinto and then walk west on 23rd toward Welch.

Both routes run every 15 minutes. The CapMetro app also gives real-time bus arrival times.
