Chaos & Strange Attractors

Chaos Theory, a course I recently completed here at Western University. Well properly the course name is Non-Linear Ordinary Differential Equations and Chaos. A title that has been scaring me since I saw it was a required course in first year… but to my surprise it has been one of my most interesting courses.

Now obviously, whenever anyone asks me my courses in math, I start with Chaos Theory as it as the most awe-inspiring name. But the I was presented the challenge… How do you explain Chaos Theory in a comprehensive way to non math students? Well, that’s my challenge here today.
