on a mission to make mathematics accessible to everyone.

The Western University Chapter was established in October 2021 and is supported by the Western Department of Mathematics. We are committed to highlighting minorities' voices in mathematics, along with building a welcoming community for everyone. That means you are welcome to join us regardless of your gender identity or expression, race, color, religion, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability.

Aside from organizing academic, social, and outreach events, we also run and maintain a blog -

The Limit Exists Sometimes.

We conduct interviews with mathematicians at all levels here at Western as an attempt to explore the intersection between being a mathematician and a member of a minority group. Our editorial team also publishes opinion pieces exploring these topics. Have a good idea? Contact us for an opportunity to be featured.
