About AWM
Founded in 1971, the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the presence and visibility of women in the mathematical sciences. RPI's student chapter of AWM was first formed in 2019, but struggled during the pandemic. Beginning in Fall 2023, our new executive board is committed to reviving AWM–RPI, continuing the important work of building a community where women can thrive in all areas of mathematics.
