In collaboration with the S-Word, this online symposium hosted by Royal Academy of Dramatic Art explored wellbeing in the acting process. Selected Material from the symposium will form content for the book Stanislavsky and Actor Wellbeing: Healthy practices for artistic rewards (Routledge/Taylor & Francis).
AACE International began in Canada as a result of bullying and sexual harassment occurring in classrooms and independent acting studios. The AWFC is harnessing its resources to support AACE UK with wellbeing workshops and lectures specifically designed for its members.
Internal panel discussions and presentations from our members on relevant topics related to actor wellbeing such as Neurodiversity in Actor Training, Trauma-informed Acting Practices, Intimacy Guidelines & Protocols in Education, and many more relevant issues.
Initiated by the Emotional Fluency Project, this initiative introduces the wellbeing services and practices of AWFC members to students and faculty in educational institutions globally.
