Born and raised in the small New England town of Woodstock, CT, Ariana Williams is an alumna of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College (currently Randolph College), where she worked in the admissions office soon after graduation. As a strong advocate for education, it’s no surprise that Ariana worked professionally as an educator, teaching kindergarteners through adults. In 2007, Ariana enrolled at the University of Virginia’s School of Education and Human Development from which she received an M.Ed./Ed.S. in mental health counseling. After graduating, she provided counseling services through a local nonprofit agency. Ariana studied college counseling through the University of San Diego and she is a graduate of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) Summer Training Institute. She is currently an associate member of IECA. Ariana and her husband believe that it is important to be involved in their local nonprofit community, and she served for several years as the board president for the Blue Ridge chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters. The couple is also raising two young daughters in Charlottesville, Virginia.
