I joined Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2018 as an Integrated Ph.D. student. Currently, I am carrying out my Ph.D. research under the guidance of Prof. K.N. Balaji in the Department of Microbiology and Cell Biology. My research involves studies in host-pathogen interaction. We aim to comprehend distinctive host cellular processes and immune responses that may be modulated by an opportunistic fungal pathogen, Cryptococcus neoformans, in order to aid its survival within the host milieu.
