Why should you care?

Multiple studies have shown that minorities are often underrepresented in medical education, like in textbooks, lecture material, case studies and more. This shows that medical literature is part of the reason for racial bias in the medical field.

What about you?

Have you ever wanted to search up symptoms to an illness or skin condition and never see images of people that look like you? Have you ever been to the doctor and have them tell you they can't identify your skin ailment? Or not receive help at all? Well this is all apart of the lack of variety in medical images and information for many people of varying skin tones.
