Friday 1/3: Compare: The Great Fossil Find is not homework. You will have 10 minutes in class on Monday to finish it. It will be homework on Monday if it is not finished during class on Monday.

Friday 11/8: We looked at the HR Diagram today. This is an HR Interactive that you can play with. Absent friends: Google the answers for the "Your Star" worksheet. This Silly HR Song to help explain what the HR Diagram is.
Thursday 11/7: Finish your lesson outline we worked on in class the last two days. Students are able to use the online book starting on page 60 to help with the lesson outline. (We went over how to get to the online book in class on Tuesday) Find your star! Find a star in our night sky and claim it as your own. Bring your star name to class tomorrow! Lava once flowed up through the Moon's crust and solidified. The Moon's Highlands are too high for lava to reach. Streaks of blasted material from craters are called rays. How were the Moon's Craters & Maria Formed?

Wed-Friday: No Homework. We started out Astro 1 Vocab on Quizlet. It looks like we will be having a quiz on those words the end of next week. If the kiddos have time they might want to play Quizlet to get ready.

Friday 9/20: You will have 10 minutes in class on Monday to finish up your Science Hall of fame. If you don't finish it then it will be homework Monday night. I told the kiddos what they got for their MOS Vocab Quiz and wrote the grade on their Test & Quiz Log on page 14 of the notebook. They will have a chance to retake the quiz on Tuesday during WIN if they choose. The retake will not count as the one retake for trimester 1.
