The purpose of this study was to determine the practices of patient education provided by nurses in hospital clinics. The data were collected using a questionnaire form developed by the researcher in the light of relevant literature. The questionnaire form included questions to help determine descriptive characteristics of nurses and practices of patient education. Statistical analysis was performed using percentages. Most of the nurses (82.4%) did not define a certain place or time for patient education, almost all of the nurses (98.9%) did not record the education process, and patients' family/relatives were not included in the education (82.4%). The results of this study have shown that clinical nurses do not adequately implement the phases of patient education. During nursing education, nurses' knowledge and skills in patient education should be developed, and they should be made to fully internalize their educational role.

Such success storiesserveto inspirethe AVSAR team to put in more efforts to extend the programme to other deserving students.Most often, over 60% of students are not matched to any funds due to limited reach, online process, and tedious documentation. 40% of funds are not matched to any students due to lack of awareness and support, mistakes in the application, or their lack of proficiencyin English. In such cases, the team at AVSAR revisits these applications after consulting the donors to check if the cut-off percentage can be relaxed. In some cases, the applications are re-submitted with more details or converted into digital forms to reduce errors and provide assistance to the students and their families in the application process.

To conclude, Avsar provides Indian users with easy access to educational content, including EduSat lectures and teacher-made videos. They can also read education sector-related news and view assessments for each subject. Its drawbacks, on the other hand, include log-in and white screen issues.
