The AVR Alpine Ski Booster Club was officially established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the 2022. It was created to support our skiers and families with information and financial support throughout the season. These items include equipment (drills, gates), team invite fees, coaches salaries, etc. plus the organization of many team activities.
Throughout the season, we are in need of ALL of our families to help in a few ways:
Volunteering:
Volunteer as a coordinator/helper for our many events and activities
Fundraising
Various events throughout the year
Cub Bagging
Races:
Gate judge
Time writer
Photographer
Sign-up listed on main page
Volunteer to bring food for the team or help with team set-up & take-down for the Sections Race or host a team dinner
Sign-up listed on main page
Join the Booster Club board (open positions vary each year)
Financially:
Booster fee = $175/skier
fee covers various expenses including:
cost of additional coaching staff
team equipment
training trips
team apparel
and many more

Attend Booster Club Meetings:
We highly encourage each parent to attend the monthly Booster Club meetings as we value and want all of our members ideas and feedback.
Meetings will be held once a month November-March. Meetings pre/post season will be in-person. Meetings during the season will be virtual.
