Becoming a member allows you to meet new people and to develop new friendships. We have many different types of activities and socials that you can participate in. You can become a stronger leader, if that’s what you’re looking for. You can learn to put projects together and become more organized in the process. Being a member allows for community involvement. If you see something you think should be happening in the community we can help make it happen. 

One of the great things about Avon Women of Today is that members can be as involved as they want to be. There are no “requirements,” but it is suggested that members attend meetings as often as possible to keep up-to-date and to feel connected to other members.

There will be monthly meetings, chapter member socials, community events, service projects and fundraisers. Nothing is mandatory or required. As with any volunteer organization, the more you put in, the more you get out. We encourage all members to play an active role in the chapter.

The annual membership dues are $50, $45 of which goes to the Minnesota Women of Today and the remaining $5 is for our United States Women of Today. These organizations provide training, monthly mailings and updates, organizational newsletters, service by officers, and a great deal of programming information. The Avon Women of Today chapter does not have any dues for itself. 

There are annual dues payable upon joining and each year during your anniversary trimester. Membership dues are $50, however Avon Women of Today covers $10 for new members or up to $10 for annual renewals. Therefore, new members and active renewing members pay $40 annually for dues.  

Of course! Feel free to attend any of our monthly meetings or community events prior to joining. 

You may join any chapter you choose, whether it be in the community you live or work, or in a near by city with other friends or family members. You do not need to live in the city the chapter you join is located.
