Hope to see you at our
SUMMER 2025 ACT Production of SHREK

Our primary summer camp goal is provide an opportunity for students entering 4th grade and up to develop and improve their acting, singing, and dancing skills. During our 4 week camp, cast members will participate in stretching & dance/movement activities, a variety of theatre games, learning about the stage and blocking, vocal techniques for theatre, projection, and all the fun involved in putting on a show! Much of this will be done through preparations for our culminating production!
Our 2023 production was Disney’s Moana, Jr. We enjoyed our time learning about, honoring, and celebrating the Pacific cultures in Moana. Literature, music, and theatre are amazing venues for doing that. With theatre, we have the added bonus of sharing what we’ve learned with our communities through our performance!

Many Thanks to all who supported our 2024 summer production of Finding Nemo!
Also, our school productions this year: Descendants, Scrooge 2024, and Mamma Mia!
Keep an eye out for our 2025-2026 School season.

We will work on developing our singers natural abilities, singing harmonies, and many will have the opportunity to sing solos or in small groups. We will also have lots of opportunities to learn some new dance steps. Many of the musical numbers in the shows will feature dancers with a variety of levels of difficulty.
students will have varied opportunities to work on creating props, helping with costumes, and painting sets and working backstage during the show. Some students will also get to experience the technical side working with spot lights, light board cues, music and mic cues.
During our summer camp, we will introduce kids to some theatre games and activities to develop their acting skills. Those students new to the stage will learn about basic stage directions, and how a show comes together. And we will rehearse for our big production - Camp ends with 3 performances of a full production.
Lion King, Jr.
Summer 2022
THANK YOU to the GENESEE VALLEY ARTS COUNCIL!
We can't wait to put our 2023 grant to great use!
Most recently:
Our 2022 grant help fund the beautiful costumes we were able to rent for our production of Lion King, Jr! They were absolutely stunning, and we couldn't have done it without the generous grant provided by this program.
Our 2021 grant help fund the flying of Ariel, Flounder, and some of our other sea creatures in Little Mermaid, Jr.
