Our research theme: spin and geometry

We are interested in the magnetic properties of various types of low-dimensional quantum magnets. In the past, we have worked on various spin-chain and spin-ladder systems. Our current focus is to explore systems with antiferromagnetic interactions and frustrated geometries. Our intention is to characterise the pristine materials and dope them to induce a change of the ground state and low-energy excitations.
