I was also involved in the installation and maintenance of various security systems, including CCTV, biometric time attendance, wired and wireless alarm systems.
During this period, I demonstrated expertise in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair. I was proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of computer systems. I'm Worked as a Trainee Network Administrator of THE GREATLAKE HOLDINGS (PVT) LTD. Gratelake Institute is currently the oldest Cisco Certification Training Center in Sri Lanka. Here are some duties assigned to me.
Cisco Testing LAB in the organization to check whether it is working properly.
Taking care of the entire network of the organization.
For the students availing the service from the institute, providing the Testing LAB and helping them in their day-to-day On-hands LAB Testing.
The person should always be in the LAB to check the performance of all network devices in the institution, so I established a separate LAB monitoring plan in the Education LAB. Even today, they use that Solutaion effectively.
A firewall solution was also provided for the security of the institution as there are a number of students connecting to the network from outside.
