I completed my PhD from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2018. Title of my PhD thesis is "Robust and Efficient Unsupervised Image Co-segmentation". It was jointly supervised by Prof. Subhasis Chaudhuri and Prof. Rajbabu Velmurugan. I was a postdoctoral researcher at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Genova (Research Line : Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision). I was an Assistant Professor at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar. At present, I am an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli.
Academic Background:
I received my B.Tech. degree from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Kalyani Government Engineering College in 2010 and M.Tech. degree from the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2012.
Research:
My present and past research include zero-shot learning, adversarial machine learning, image co-segmentation, analysis of 3D volumetric CT scan data, subgraph matching, image saliency detection, saliency-aided seam carving. During M.Tech., I had worked on privacy preserving computation with anonymous computing protocols for E-voting and E-tendering as applications.
