Revolutionize Tutorial Request Forms (TRF)
Click
HERE to get your own copy of the form above.
Concept:
- Digitize the TRF process so that students can keep their tutorial documents/notes organized and in one place. With this document, students will have all of their TRF forms for the grading period in 1 single document.
- This will also allow them to quickly and easily refer to past tutorials for review as well as for analysis of how much time was dedicated to each subject area during the grading cycle.
How To:
- "If it is White, you can Write" - any cells in the document that are white are for student input whereas the other cells are labels.
- Add the template to Google Classroom as an assignment and "Make a copy for each student"
- Remember to Add a Topic of "TRF" so your students can easily find this later during the grading period.
- Students have all of their TRF forms for the grading period in 1 single document.
- The tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet window are for 2 tutorials/week for 9 weeks.
- These tabs can be renamed.
HINT: Students can submit their tutorials for the day/week via the classroom "turn in" button, but remember that once they turn it in, they can no longer edit the document.
Teachers/Tutors grade the document and record the score then release the document back to the student to get prepared for the next tutorial session.
Extra HINT: Add a private comment to the student in classroom with their grade and feedback on how to improve their TRF for next time.
