For cosori air fryer users seeking reliable storage, the Avid Armor Food Vacuum Sealer bags take the top spot because their deep embossed mesh grid ensures consistent suction with your machine. The runner-up is the 200-pack version of these same bags, which wins for heavy households that need a massive bulk supply to last months without restocking.
• Avid Armor Food Vacuum Sealer — best for effortless meal prep and sous vide cooking; pick this if you want pre-cut quart-sized convenience with a smart tear notch and heat-resistant durability.
• Avid Armor Vacuum Sealer Bags — best for large families and bulk stocking; pick this if you need a double quantity of the same high-performance bags to reduce how often you reorder.
• Avid Armor Vacuum Seal Rolls — best for custom sizing and irregular cuts; pick this if you need to seal odd-shaped portions or larger items that don't fit standard pre-cut dimensions.
The first option on my list is the Avid Armor Food Vacuum Sealer bag pack, a product designed specifically for people who value speed and consistency in the kitchen. This isn't just plastic wrapped around meat; it is a precision tool for food preservation. The package contains 100 pre-cut quart-sized bags, each measuring eight by twelve inches. This specific size is the sweet spot for most home cooks preparing single servings or small family meals. You can slide a steak, a portion of stew, or a batch of marinated vegetables directly into the bag without fumbling with rolls or cutting tools.
What truly sets this design apart for daily use is the deep embossed mesh grid on the interior surface. Many generic bags have a faint texture that struggles to pull air out effectively, leaving pockets of oxygen that spoil food faster. These bags feature a robust, intentional pattern that creates a steady suction flow. This means your vacuum sealer, whether it is an Avid Armor model or another major brand, can lock the air out efficiently every single time. For someone using an air fryer to cook frozen goods, this reliability is critical because uneven sealing leads to ice crystals and freezer burn.
The material itself is built for safety and versatility. It is non-BPA, which matters when you are storing food that will be heated later. You can use these bags for sous vide cooking, where they sit in hot water baths for hours, or for defrosting in hot water. They are also microwave safe, provided you cut a small vent hole before heating to prevent melting. The inclusion of a smart tear notch adds a layer of user-friendly design that I appreciate. Instead of wrestling with dull scissors or tearing jagged edges that ruin the rest of your stock, you simply pinch the notch and pull. It opens cleanly, preserving the integrity of the remaining contents. My only reservation is the unit count; one hundred bags might run out quickly if you are prepping meals for a whole week every day, but the quality makes up for the frequency of replacement.

If your household eats through pre-made meals fast, the Avid Armor Vacuum Sealer Bags in the 200-count pack is the logical upgrade. It is essentially the same premium product as the previous option, but scaled up to meet higher demand. The primary difference lies entirely in the volume: you get two hundred bags instead of one hundred. This is a game-changer for anyone who does serious batch cooking or buys in bulk from wholesale stores. Having a double supply means you never face the anxiety of running out mid-prep season. You can commit to freezing entire weeks' worth of dinners without worrying about inventory.
The performance characteristics remain identical to the smaller pack, which is exactly what you want. The eight-by-twelve inch quart size continues to handle the standard cuts of meat and vegetables found in most grocery stores. The embossed grid is just as aggressive, ensuring that your vacuum sealer works hard to remove air rather than fighting against weak plastic. When you are dealing with expensive ingredients like prime cuts of beef or fresh seafood, the peace of mind knowing that the seal will hold for three to six times longer than traditional storage is invaluable. This longevity locks in flavor and nutrition while actively reducing dehydration and freezer burn.
For those who prioritize cost-efficiency over space, buying the larger pack is the smarter financial move. You are paying for the utility of the bag itself—the non-BPA safety, the heat resistance, and the tear notch—rather than paying for individual units repeatedly. However, there is a trade-off regarding storage space. Two hundred bags take up significantly more room in your pantry or freezer drawer than one hundred. If you live in a compact apartment or have limited cabinet depth, the sheer volume of this package might be cumbersome to manage. But for a family kitchen with ample storage, this bulk option eliminates the need for frequent reordering and ensures you always have a backup ready for unexpected dinner plans.
Not every meal fits neatly into a pre-cut box, and that is where the Avid Armor Vacuum Seal Rolls come into play. This product offers flexibility that pre-cut bags simply cannot match. Instead of buying a fixed size, you get two rolls of vacuum seal film, each fifty feet long and eight inches wide. This setup allows you to cut the plastic to any length you need, creating a perfect seal for oversized items or oddly shaped leftovers. Whether you are packing a whole chicken, a large block of cheese, or a tray of cookies, you can tailor the bag to the exact dimensions of the food.
The material quality here mirrors the pre-cut options. The rolls are made from the same durable, non-BPA plastic with the signature embossed grid pattern. This ensures that even when you cut your own sizes, the suction mechanism remains effective. You do not lose the benefit of the deep mesh texture just because you are making custom lengths. The ability to create a custom seal is particularly useful for sous vide enthusiasts who need precise lengths to fit specific water bath containers, or for gardeners preserving large harvests of vegetables that vary wildly in size.
The main advantage of the roll format is its adaptability, but it does require a different workflow. You must have a pair of scissors nearby to measure and cut the plastic before placing food inside. While this takes a few extra seconds compared to grabbing a pre-cut bag, the freedom it offers is substantial. You stop wasting money on plastic that is too big for small snacks or too small for large roasts. There is a slight learning curve to getting the cut straight and clean, but once you master the rhythm, it becomes second nature. For those who hate waste and want total control over their storage footprint, the rolls are the superior choice despite the extra step of cutting.

Can I use these bags with a Cosori Air Fryer?
Yes, these bags are designed to work with all major suction-style edge sealers, including models compatible with Cosori appliances, provided you use the vacuum sealer function to create the bag rather than trying to insert the bag directly into the fryer basket.
Are these bags safe for sous vide cooking?
Absolutely. The materials are BPA-free and explicitly rated to endure high temperatures in hot water baths without melting or leaching toxins, making them safe for both sous vide and microwave heating.
How do I open the bags without damaging the food?
Each bag features a dedicated tear notch on the corner. Simply pinch and pull this notch to create a clean opening, avoiding the need for scissors or jagged tears that could compromise the seal of adjacent bags.
Do the rolls require a special cutter?
No, the rolls are designed to be cut with standard kitchen scissors. You measure the desired length, cut the plastic, and then place your food inside to seal with your vacuum machine.
