RIFs are Recruitment Information Forms and Recs are Recommendation Letters. Each chapter has a unique policy on RIFs & Recs and many use the terms interchangeably. Some chapters require that recommendation letters come from an alumna of that chapter, but most chapters accept third-party recommendations from a coach, teacher, etc. You can find more information about what each chapter expects in the chapter-specific drop down menu. This is a “fill-in-the-blank” type of standardized document that can be found on each sorority’s website, and can be accessed by an alumna. If you are an alumna, you will log on to your sorority’s website and download your sorority’s unique endorsement form/follow the instructions on your chapter-specific page.
