About Me

My broadcasting career began in 2016, when I provided color commentary for a handful of Johns Hopkins football games. During my sophomore year of college in 2019, I became the play-by-play voice for Shepherd University athletics, calling men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, women's lacrosse and volleyball for the Rams. As a member of Shepherd's Game Management Staff, I helped oversee all aspects of broadcast production, including setting up our soundboard, camera and streaming equipment, running the livestream and scorebug graphic, and providing commentary, while also instructing other students on how to use our equipment. I graduated from Shepherd in May 2022, receiving my bachelor's degree in Recreation & Sports Studies with a concentration in Sport Communication. Shortly afterwards, I attended graduate school at the University of Maryland, College Park. I called games for the student radio station WMUC Sports, the Maryland Baseball Network, and Big Ten Plus. During my time at UMD I also secured freelancing opportunities with ESPN+ and Next Level Sports. My final semester was spent as a reporter and anchor for Capital News Service, a student-run news organization. I reported on local stories in the DMV area and wrote/anchored multiple sports segments. I received my master's degree in Broadcast Journalism in December 2023, the same time I launched my social media pages creating daily sports history content. I joined the McDaniel College athletic department in July 2024 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, where I serve as the primary media contact for several sports, produce game broadcasts, create social media content for the school's official athletic pages, design graphics, manage the official athletic website, write game recaps and press releases, oversee gameday operations, provide play-by-play and public address announcing and perform administrative duties.
