Department of Mathematics

The Department was established in the year 1992, it offers a two Masters Program, one in M.Sc (Mathematics) since 1992, and M.Sc(Applied Mathematics) since 2017. It has qualified and experienced teaching staff. The faculty  attended  international and national seminars regularly. ICT mode of teaching and learning process is used.

      There are 3 national journals and a departmental library with 100 books exclusively for staff. The department organizes guest lectures on a regular basis by eminent academicians like Prof.K SatyaNaryana , Dr. Dharmaiah, Dr. Kannan, Dr. Goverdhan from the Mathematics Department, Osmania University), Prof. T.V.K. Iyengar (REC, Warangal), Dr. Avadhanulu garu, Sri Veda Bharathi Institute and Prof.. Manoj Kumar (CMR engineering college), Dr. Sharan Gopal, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, Dr. Srinivas,  University College of Sciences, Saifabad. 

      The collaboration with “CSC Technologies” & " R.R Educational Academy" provides developing soft skills and reasoning skills. Group discussions, class room seminars, research oriented studies are also taken up. The students and the faculty contributed books, pens & other stationary materials to the students of ZPPS Rajendra Nagar. The students participate in various inter college competitions like paper presentation, essay writing, elocution, singing, outdoor and indoor games.

      The academic performance of the students has been consistently outstanding.The alumni are working in various institutions like BVRIT(H),Vasavi engineering college, Aurora engineering college, TKR engineering College,Techno schools and in government sector.
