If you want spatial audio open ear earbuds for switch or a premium wireless travel solution with aptX Adaptive support, choose Avantree SoundJet R1-25Hr; if you need comfortable true wireless earbuds for switch alternatives that are actually wired, durable on-ear headphones in bulk for a classroom or library setting, choose Gaosen Classroom Headphones Bulk.
• Avantree SoundJet R1-25Hr: Its biggest strength is the 25-hour battery life and aptX Adaptive codec support for high-fidelity wireless streaming from analog sources, but it is a single-user transmitter designed strictly for flight and gym use.
• Gaosen Classroom Headphones Bulk: Its biggest strength is the practicality of getting five durable, swivel-wearing units for group environments like schools, but they are limited to wired connections and lack advanced wireless codecs.
• The Avantree pick is for the solo traveler who wants to share a screen without compromising audio quality over long hauls.
• The Gaosen pick is for teachers, parents, or event organizers who need multiple sturdy, comfortable headsets for students or kids.
The Avantree SoundJet R1-25Hr is engineered specifically for one job: turning any analog audio output into a high-quality Bluetooth signal. If you have ever sat on a plane where the entertainment system only has a 3.5mm jack and your favorite noise-canceling headphones are Bluetooth-only, this adapter solves that exact problem. It does not just connect; it connects intelligently using a premium Qualcomm chipset that supports aptX Adaptive and aptX HD. This means if your headphones support these codecs, you get audio quality that rivals a direct wired connection, preserving detail and clarity that standard Bluetooth often sacrifices.
What stands out most about this device is its power management. With a claimed playtime of up to 25 hours on a single charge, it is built for long-haul international flights where you might watch two movies back-to-back or listen to an audiobook through an entire day of travel. The USB-C pass-through charging feature is equally critical for modern travelers. It allows you to plug the adapter into a power bank or the seat's USB port while listening, meaning you never have to stop the movie to swap out batteries or find a charger. You simply keep it plugged in and keep listening.
This product is ideal for the solo traveler who values audio fidelity and wants to pair their own high-end AirPods or Bose headphones with airline screens, gym machines, or older tablets. However, you should skip this if you are looking for a headset to wear yourself right out of the box. This is a transmitter, not a receiver, and it does not include earbuds or headphones. It also requires a device with a 3.5mm headphone output, so it will not work with newer laptops or phones that lack that specific port unless you use an adapter. It is not designed for phone calls or musical instruments, so keep it strictly for media playback from analog sources.

The Gaosen Classroom Headphones Bulk takes a completely different approach, focusing on durability, comfort, and volume for groups rather than wireless freedom. These are on-ear, wired headphones packaged in sets of five, making them the obvious choice for educators, camp counselors, or parents managing multiple children. The design features swivel ear cups and a lightweight plastic construction, which helps them sit comfortably on a child's head without feeling heavy or clunky during extended listening sessions. They are built to withstand the rough handling typical of K-12 environments, from being dropped in backpacks to being tossed onto desks.
Audio performance here is straightforward and functional. With 30-millimeter dynamic drivers and a frequency response ranging from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, they deliver clear sound suitable for educational videos, language labs, or casual movie watching. The impedance of 32 ohms ensures they work well with standard devices like Chromebooks, laptops, and library computers without needing extra amplification. The "sound isolation" feature mentioned in the specs suggests they do a decent job of blocking out ambient noise, helping students focus on the content playing through the 3.5mm jack. Since they are wired, there is zero latency and no battery anxiety; as long as the source device has a headphone jack, the audio plays instantly.
You should buy these if you need a cost-effective way to equip a small group with matching, reliable listening gear. They are perfect for school classrooms, library reading corners, or even airplane trips where you want to ensure every kid has their own set. However, if you need wireless mobility, these will not fit the bill. They tether you to the source device via a cable, limiting movement. They also lack the advanced codec support found in the Avantree unit, meaning the audio quality is good but not high-fidelity in the way audiophiles define it. They are tools for education and mass distribution, not personal luxury accessories.

I would buy the Avantree SoundJet R1-25Hr if I were planning a trip alone or with one partner and wanted to enjoy high-quality audio from my own noise-canceling headphones on a flight. The ability to stream wirelessly with aptX Adaptive support and the massive 25-hour battery life makes it an indispensable tool for modern travel. Conversely, I would choose the Gaosen Classroom Headphones Bulk if I were equipping a classroom, a Sunday school group, or a family gathering with five kids. There is simply no better value for a situation where you need multiple, durable, ready-to-use headsets that won't fail when a battery dies mid-movie. Ultimately, this choice comes down to whether you are upgrading your personal audio experience or solving a logistical problem for a group.
The Avantree adapter is weather-resistant enough for general use, but the Gaosen headphones are designed for indoor classroom and travel use, not intense physical activity.
They pair with any Bluetooth headphones that have a 3.5mm input or Bluetooth connectivity, but audio quality depends on the codec supported by both the adapter and your specific headphones.
The package includes five individual units, so up to five users can listen simultaneously to the same source device via separate 3.5mm jacks or a splitter (not included).
